I’ve experienced the full range of dental care from multiple providers—from my first filling back in the 1960s as an Army brat (my mom was not in the room), a horrid dentist who gave me a root canal without telling me what was happening, multiple crowns and the dread gingivitis. The team at University Associates is excellent—from the front desk to the hygienists and the dentists. Recently I saw Dr Marcus for a procedure—he cared more about my pain level than I did! And I recall how he consulted via phone during the Covid times when I chipped a tooth. You would be hard pressed to find better dental care in Chicago and/or the entire country. They take care of your needs, consult on your wants (whiter teeth?) and don’t push unneeded procedures.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Schelkopf and the entire team at University Associates in Dentistry. I recently had restorative work done on my front teeth, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everything from scheduling to the procedure itself was seamless, and the staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Schelkopf did an exceptional job, and my teeth look better than ever. I highly recommend University Associates in Dentistry to anyone looking for high-quality dental care!

For 17 years UAD has been my primary dental provider. Started with cleanings, an implant and then Invisalign. Dr. Marcus “Marty” is my dentist and he is a true master of his craft. Dr Marcus just completed a required crown due to a cracked molar over the holiday. I was a bit nervous as I’m not the biggest fan of the drilling noise. The procedure was completely painless and the end results are wonderful. Extremely grateful a close friend recommended Dr. Marcus and his team to me years back. Do yourself and your teeth a favor and visit UAD.

I absolutely loved my experience at UAD. Dr. Schelkopf restored my upper teeth. It was an excellent experience, I am very satisfied with the result and the process itself. The entire office staff is great - everyone is friendly and helpful, relaxing, good vibe. Dr. Schelkopf is caring, knowledgeable, and highly professional. I strongly recommend the office.

I always enjoy coming here. The staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. Noemi is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always helps me feel at ease. She takes the time to answer questions and makes every visit a positive experience. I highly recommend this place and appreciate the excellent care and service I receive.

You are not going to find better than University Dental Associates! If you’re reading this review, it means you’ve made the wise decision to explore dental care. I congratulate you especially if you’ve been putting it off like I had. Shopping for a dental center was not unlike shopping for a new car. I explored five including that new teeth in 24 hours with the so called “smile consultant” to find out the process wasn’t really 24 hours when including the follow-up care. The “smile consultant” was a sly man trained in horrible sales practices designed to get one to sign on the bottom line NOW. They played on your self esteem more than the health benefits. I also witnessed them padding their 5 stars reviews on google. You are going to find honesty, compassion and expert care at University Dental Associates. From the front office reception staff to the dentists, they are professionals and experts in their fields of work. Dr Marcus and his staff at UAD is nothing short of wonderful. Wait times are short, hygienists and friendly, and they are able to take care of all dental needs - cosmetic, medical, and emergency. They have a real person answering the phone for emergency services after hours, and Dr Marcus has personally gone out of his way multiple times to take care of me outside of the bounds of traditional hours. I’ve worked with UAD for Invisalign, cleanings, whitening, dental work and an unfortunate root canal. I’ve always been treated with extreme care and attention, with minor wait times and pleasant staff experiences. UAD is the best of the best, and if you’re lucky enough to have Dr Marcus as your provider, you are in the best hands!
